After our sweltering night in Moab along Onion Creek, we loaded up the T@b and headed for the mountains. The La Sals are a great place to escape the heat of Moab in the summer and are accessed from either Castle Valley or Ken's Lake off the La Sal Mountain Loop Road. There are tons of places to explore in the La Sals. This trip we stumbled on a great little campground called Mason Draw. There are only five campsites and each is tucked up into the edge of an aspen grove. No one was here and we had the entire campground to ourselves for two days!!! The temps were in the 70's and it really didn't get too cold at night. Pleasant all around.

I was doing a web search on this campground and lo and behold, it's another T@b owner!
